I was on the bus this morning and peeked at a Wall Street Journal of the gentleman who occupied the seat next to me. I saw this article and looked it up online so the gentleman wouldn't be creeped out by my snooping.
Today it is in the 50 degree range of "warmth." It's wet, so I couldn't bike but I still found myself transfixed by a new "can do" attitude that hasn't been around for a while.
I thought about gardening. I thought about biking. I thought about picnics. I thought about sun. I thought about my pal Lake Michigan who is a good companion year round but who is much more fun to be around in the summertime.
And I smiled. and was happy. just with the thought of the season to come.
