Walk.

I set out this morning on my regular Saturday run and was cruisin down the lakeshore path in the SUNLIGHT! I have not been feeling particularly well but also, I wanted to take in the surroundings.

I decided to slow down.

Instead of cruisin through my usual jaunt from home, I decided to walk and let myself go close to the lake to take in the thaw-ing surroundings. My feet are a little bit wet from the places where the ground is utterly saturated with snow gone by, but it was wonderful. I veered, I looked, I took air in and loved it. The sun, the sky, the water.

Sometimes you gotta slow down and walk, not run.
