Disconnection is such a beautiful thing.
A cabin in the Cooperstown area. A library, fall colors, apple cider donuts, warm coffee, a porch with a view.
We came for the hall of fame (baseball), but we stayed for the nights of poker, yahtzee, reading, talking and solace.
I never knew how to play poker -- now I do. So see? I learned something while I was there. It was relaxing AND educational.
This is why vacation is a very, very good thing.
